Embarking on this peacemaking pilgrimage has a profound purpose. It aims to encourage spiritual awakening and transformation while exploring the complexities of cultural and historical events that have shaped these lands amidst the backdrop of ongoing conflict and war. This Pilgrimage will take you through the sacred corridors of ancient holy sites, providing an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. However, the true significance of this journey lies in what it truly means to walk in Jesus's spiritual pathways, embracing the calling to become peacemakers and extend love to the world—including our enemies. On this trip, we will hear from Jewish and Palestinian spiritual leaders, humanitarians, and peacemakers as they share their sorrow and hope for peace and justice in this holy land.
Our spiritual guides will provide perspective and an opportunity to enrich and challenge spiritual assumptions on what it means to follow the "Prince of Peace" within the context of systemic oppression, fear, and violence.
Stroll through cobblestone streets, explore holy sites, and encounter ancient cultures, people, and faiths.
Live with and learn from locals, eat their food, get to know their pain and hopes, and discover how similar we all are.
Learn firsthand the hardship of life in Palestine, the origins of the current conflict, and opportunities for peace and hope on the road ahead.
Spend time with local farmers joining in on harvesting olives or tree planting, depending on the time of year.

Our world today is filled with division and violence, but Jesus calls his followers to be peacemakers. "Blessed are the peacemakers," he says. He calls his followers to peace and humility... even with our enemies. Mildred Lisette Norman, also known as Peace Pilgrim, believed that inner peace is the key to world peace. This Pilgrimage will challenge us to live out this truth in our hearts and communities at home and abroad. Understanding ourselves, including our divine nature and shadow selves, allows us to travel this path to wholeness. Our experienced spiritual guides will encourage the pilgrim to glimpse a faith beyond our culture and political constructs. To create a broader path of what it means to be a Christ follower in a world immersed in hate and indifference. Throughout the day, intentional times of meditation, prayer, and contemplation will be provided to help the pilgrim process the things they have seen and heard. We will also have times of community sharing to learn and grow together.
As part of supporting indigenous Palestinian farmers, this tour will include time helping harvest Olives. You will join in solidarity to pick olives from their groves despite enduring harassment and destruction caused by Israeli military forces and settlers. Visitors have a chance to help with this critical activity while also learning about important issues facing the region. Don't miss your opportunity to take part. Come stand together with us in support of these rural communities!
This trip provides new and enriching faith experiences but will also not shy away from the harsh realities on the ground. You will learn about the occupation, the settler movement, and home demolitions from Jewish and Palestinian perspectives and how it relates to the "Jesus way". During your learning journey, you will gain insights into the complex historical context of the chronic power struggles and oppression dynamics that have shaped the Holy Land and impacted the world at large. Through this process, you will develop a deeper understanding of the root causes of these issues and the diverse perspectives and experiences of those affected by them. You will also learn about Jewish and Palestinian grassroots organizations and local leaders working toward peace and justice.
This pilgrimage is contingent upon the state of security and political climate within Israel and may be postponed based on conditions on the ground. Possible dates are early spring or Fall 2025 .
